Meet Our Doctor

After attending dental school at the Ivy League institution, University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Lindsay Pfeffer continued her research as the president of Penn SDM’s research committee and winning the American Dental Associations (ADA) most prestigious student research award. In addition she was awarded the opportunity to work at the ADA with the American Student Dental Associations Executive Director and to serve on several boards, as the sole student member for the entire nation. She also served as the vice-president of her class and a trustee on the board for the American Student Dental Association. At this same time she was one of few chosen to work in PENN’s medically compromised clinic providing care to those patients who are at most risk of infection or severe complications. While getting her doctorate, she managed to earn a Masters from PENN in Biomedical Ethics. From there she attended the University of Southern California for advanced training in a hospital residency. Here she worked as a dentist in the Los Angeles Veterans Hospital and USC County Hospital, doing complex dentistry and working with patients with severe trauma, cancer or a compromised medical history. After this she attended an orthodontic residency at UNLV, obtaining her Masters in Oral Biology and Certificate in Orthodontics. “As much as I loved Dentistry, I wanted to work more with kids at a motivational age. Orthodontics was my avenue to specialize in something where those two would merge.”

Meet Our Staff

I am new to the orthodontic field but I am so happy to be working at i-Ortho! I truly enjoy getting to meet and interact with all of the patients here. There are no words to describe how lucky I feel to be able to work with Dr. Pfeffer and the rest of the team! I was born and raised in San Diego and I absolutely love it. In my free time I love to relax at the beach, visit the local farmers markets, shop, and hang with my loved ones.

I’ve worked in general practice for a while until one day I decided to step out of my comfort zone. The day that I found i-Ortho and met Dr. Pfeffer, I immediately knew that this is where I wanted to be! I am so happy and proud to be a member of the i-Ortho family. I am originally a Dentist from the Philippines and decided to move to sunny San Diego where I am happily married! I usually spend my free time gardening and playing with my shih tzu Juancho. I also practice pilates and love traveling.

I just recently moved to San Diego from a small town in Indiana. I am loving the sunshine and being so close to the ocean! While I’m brand new to the ortho field, I am so happy to be working here at I-Ortho! I couldn’t imagine a better work family! All of the girls are wonderful and Dr. Pfeffer is amazing. You won’t find a friendlier team! I am newly married to my husband Cody and we have a sweet miniature schnauzer named Otis. I am also a college student working towards my degree in social work. Foster children hold a very special place in my heart and I hope to work for Child Protective Services (CPS) one day. When I’m not at work or school, Cody and I love our trips to Disneyland and going to the beach!
